Welcome to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Catholic Primary School. We are delighted that your child/children will be joining Our Ladys school family in September. Starting school is a very special milestone, and we are excited to begin this journey together.

Tuesday 16th June Parent Induction Meeting 3.30pm - 4.00pm This meeting will be held in the Reception classroom and will be an opportunity to meet key members of staff, find out about the school routine and structure of the day and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Please could you bring along your child’s original birth certificate so that the office can photocopy the details.

Friday 26th June Story session 2.45pm – 3.00pm During this story session you are invited to come along with your child/children and explore the reception indoor and outdoor learning environment and enjoy listening to a story read by the class teacher.

Thursday 2nd July Story session 2.45pm – 3.00pm During this story session you are invited to come along with your child/children and explore the reception indoor and outdoor learning environment and enjoy listening to a story read by the class teacher.

Monday 6th July Stay and play visit 1 9.15am – 10.15pm OR 1.15pm – 2.15pm Parents are invited to ‘stay and play’ with their child/children to explore and become more familiar with their new classroom setting and outdoor area.

Tuesday 7th July Stay and play visit 2 9.15am – 10.15pm OR 1.15pm – 2.15pm Parents are invited to ‘stay and play’ with their child/children to join in with fun activities and get to know their new friends in the class.

Monday 13th July or Tuesday 14th July Parent/carer meetings or phone calls (times to be confirmed) This is an opportunity to speak to your child’s/children’s class teacher and share any relevant information or discuss any concerns you may have. |

Monday 7th September - Friday 18th September Part-time sessions: Morning session: 8.30am-8.45am – 12.00pm OR Afternoon session: 1.00pm – 3.15pm

Monday 21st September Begin full time at school (8.30am-8.45am – 3.15pm)

September 2026 Weekly stay and play sessions (dates to be confirmed nearer the time)

Water bottles - Please ensure your child brings in a bottle of water to school each day. Children have access to this throughout the day.
Labelling school uniform and PE kit - Please ensure ALL of your child’s school clothing is clearly labelled including coats and their PE kit.
Mud Kitchen - In our outdoor area children have access to a mud kitchen where children get creative and very messy. Please could you bring in a pair of wellyboots and a large oversized t-shirt (any colour) for your child to wear. Please ensure these are also labelled with their name.
