Year 4 Overview

Welcome to Year 4.

Our class teacher is Mrs Richardson-Hignett. Mr Stretch and Mrs Jones are our teaching assistants. We are looking forward to our residential at Hawse End in Cumbria and, of course, making our First Holy Communion and Reconciliation.
This term we will be studying Why Chester is so important, and how it's connected to the Romans in Geography. We then continue with our History topic: 'Who were the Romans and what did we learn from them?'
In Science we will consider  'What happens to the food we eat?' as we study the digestive system. Then, 'How would we survive without water?', as we study solids, liquids and gases.
News flash!!
We actually got to look inside our own bodies with a virtual T-shirt!
On the right are photographs of our digestive system!
