This week we focused on art in our Craft Zone. We used acrylic paints and stones to create individual stone art which will be displayed in our grounds. We also decorated fairy houses, toad-stools and ceramic fairy models which will be used to create a fairy garden in our woods.

This week our KS2 children worked in small groups to construct dens in our woods zone. It required the children to negotiate with each other, visualise, plan and build a sturdy frame using natural materials, loose parts, rope and tarpaulin. It was lovely to see the children so imaginative and proud of their fantastic creations.

This week our KS2 children turned into gardeners.  They put on their gardening gloves and worked really hard with trowels and forks to clear the weeds and leaves from the planters.
